Show season is just around the corner and please take a moment to visit our online show schedule. Please note one of the most significant rule changes in 2008 is that "APHA membership is now required for all exhibitors to show". Please plan accordingly as this will be strictly enforced! Our NEPHC committees are meeting regularly. The futurity committee is hard at work adding money to the futurity and is always looking for sponsorships or new ideas. The promotions committee is in full swing as well as the youth committee joined by Zone 7 AjPHA Representative Sam Lapointe, working on an e-newsletter for the youth members. Check the Youth Page for details.

Attention All Youth Members... Nominations are completed and now WE WANT YOUR VOTE!!! Please see the Youth Page for more details as to who you can vote into Office! Deadline is May 15th, so please be sure to voice your opinion and get your votes in early! Newly Elected Officers will be announced at the First Oneco Show!

NEPHC also sponsors the Linda Weber Showmanship challenge at its Amateur/Novice/Youth show each year. All entry fees go to the Saints Memorial Medical Center Cancer Unit, Lowell, MA in memory of Linda. This year the Showmanship Challenge will be held on Saturday, August 30th at Falls Creek Farm, Oneco, CT. It is open to all exhibitors and breeds.

The New England Paint Horse Club is pleased to support the first annual Massachusetts Ride for the Cure®, an official event for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, MA Affiliate. The Massachusetts Ride for the Cure® is scheduled to be held at Felton Field in Barre, MA on June 8th, 2008 and is an NEHT affiliated ride.
