The New England Paint Horse Club is pleased to support the first annual Massachusetts Ride for the Cure®, an official event for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, MA Affiliate. The Massachusetts Ride for the Cure® is scheduled to be held at Felton Field in Barre, MA on June 8th, 2008 and is an NEHT affiliated ride. Denise Reed Gagnon, NEPHC Board member and newsletter editor, is participating in this ride to raise money for the Cure and is riding her horse, Henry. Denise is riding in honor of Ellie Connolly and Carolyn Burt, two NEPHC board members and breast cancer survivors. Also Jean Ford, another NEPHC Member and is riding in honor of her good
friends Ann Bonner as well as Carolyn Burt both of whom are breast cancer survivors. Both have set a fundraising goal of at least $1,000.00 which will go towards breast cancer research and can make a difference in the lives of cancer patients. If you would like to support their efforts for this important cause, please consider donating whatever amount you can to help.
